Accomplishments:

Happy to report that I have the base board cut out.  I think I'll wait for
the final purchase of our motor (still thinking about batteries) and
redrawing some designs for the shafts/gears before I cut the hole.

A little after 6:00, I locked myself in that tiny room Malone likes to
call a shop and cut out an upper level.  This level is immediately on top
of the motors and will house the mechanical sensors.
